The NZ Ope ra School offers young singers the opportunity to develop their vocal tech niques\, their language and performance abilities during twelve days of in tensive tuition.

The tutors who are select ed to teach at the NZOS are of the very highest standard and come to Whang anui from around the world\, as well as New Zealand.

Wanganui Collegiate School is the venue chosen to host the NZ O pera School in January each year as it offers excellent facilities with ac commodation\, dining room\, the Prince Edward Auditorium\, Chapel and musi c rooms. The facilities are excellent for fostering and nurturing the trai ning of New Zealand’s emerging Opera Stars.
