The NZ Opera School offers young singers the opportunity to develop their vocal techniques, their language and performance abilities during twelve days of intensive tuition. The tutors who are selected to teach at the NZOS are of the very highest standard and come to Whanganui from around the world, as well as New Zealand. Wanganui Collegiate School is the venue chosen to host the NZ Opera School in January each year as it offers excellent facilities with accommodation, dining room, the Prince Edward Auditorium, Chapel and music rooms. The facilities are excellent for fostering and nurturing the training of New Zealand’s emerging Opera Stars. If you have never been to a Masterclass before, we urge you to experience a training session in progress. The masterclasses give a greater insight into the development of the human voice, and are great fun!   Bring a friend and enjoy a glass of wine or juice after the masterclass.    Finish approx 10pm
